Autorisation stations d'amateur

The National Agency of Telecommunications Regulation (ANRT) is the authority responsible for the licensing of radio stations.

The amateur radio station service allows enthusiasts from different countries to exchange technical messages in plain language for learning, intercommunication and technical studies, for a purely personal, non-commercial purpose.

 

Pursuant to Decision No 27/00 of March 1st 2000 on procedures for monitoring and managing the radio frequency spectrum, the use of radio equipment for the purposes of amateur radio service is subject to obtaining a "Restricted Operator Certificate.

Form for resident enthusiasts holding a Restricted Operator Certificate (ROR) in Morocco

The application may be sent by mail to autorisation@anrt.maThe application may be made directly by the enthusiast or through the Association Royale des Radioamateurs du MAROC (ARRAM).

Filing the application:

For a Moroccan radio enthusiast:

  • Application filed by the applicant, stating the brand and type of station.

  • Copy of the enthusiast's license.

  • Copy of the Restricted Operator Certificate.

  • Application form duly filled out and signed.

For a foreign radio enthusiast:

  • Applicant's request specifying its base point and length of stay in Morocco;

  • Copy of the enthusiast's license;

  • Copy of passport.
