ICANN and ANRT organize the 10th Middle East DNS forum

ANRT is the ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) partner for the organization of the Middle East Domain System Forum 2024 (ME-DNS Forum 2024).

The event will be held in Rabat on April 24 and 25, 2024. It also celebrates the 10th anniversary of this Forum, and aims to highlight the progress made over the last ten years in the region. The Forum will be led by national and international experts, and will provide an opportunity to exchange views on a number of topics relating to the DNS ecosystem.

ICANN is an international, non-profit organization incorporated under US law. ICANN's primary role is to administer the Internet resource space, such as IP addresses and top-level domain names (TLDs), both generic codes (gTLDs) and country codes (ccTLDs, such as .ma), and to manage the root server system.

In accordance with law no. 24-96, the ANRT is responsible for allocating ".ma" and ".المغرب" domain names, defining the terms and conditions of their administrative, technical and commercial management, and representing the holders of these addresses before international governmental and non-governmental bodies in charge of the international management of Internet domain names.
