The ANRT has published the annual observatory on .ma domain names, including indicators relating to the resilience of these domain names. In 2020, the .ma domain had 93,506 registered domain names, showing a growth rate of 19.4% compared to 2019. The average renewal rate of .ma domain names is 81%. 52% of .ma domain names are associated with active websites.
98.7% of .ma domain names are reported with at least 2 DNS servers, increasing the resilience of these domain names. In terms of IPv6 compatibility, 27.2% of .ma domain names are IPv6-compatible for their DNS servers, 8.3% are IPv6-compatible for their mail servers and 16.4% for their web servers.

In addition, and as part of the actions undertaken by the ANRT to increase the resilience of the .ma domain, new secondary DNS platforms on the .ma domain (zone .ma) were deployed in 2020, with the operators Médi Telecom and Wana Corporate.
These new secondary DNS platforms are in addition to those already established, thus meeting international standards, particularly in terms of redundancy and geographical dispersion.
