Morocco elected in ITU council and Radio Regulations Board

Morocco was re-elected as a member of the ITU Council at the Plenipotentiary Conference of the Union, held from October 20th to November 7th, 2014 in Busan, South Korea. This second term re-election for 2015-2018 crowns the work that has been carried out by Morocco in the Council since its first election in 1962.

Morocco was also re-elected as a member of the Radio Regulations Board of the ITU for a second term spanning the years 2015 through 2018, represented by our colleage, Mustapha BESSI, head of Spectrum of frequencies Division at ANRT. This board, composed of 12 experts from around the world, addresses important issues related to radio regulation in the ITU.
